We have only one passage today, but I thought it was such a strong one that it would be all that we need. This passage tells of a time when another anti-God nation aspired to wiping out the people of God. The army which this nation of Egypt employed was drowned in the Red Sea by God. Today as we hear voices from that same region calling for a jihad -let us call our God to the real Holy War. It is His cause and we are His people. I am speaking of the believing remnant here in this country. 2Chronicles 7:14 says, If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Not all people, but my people-the people of the Living and true God. We are assured in Isaiah 59:19b that when the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him. There have been other national religions that were wiped from the face of the earth, maybe now is the time for this one to go also. Be assured the Lord will not share His glory with any false god. If it is, as it has been revealed, that this religion has such a following in our country, perhaps the Lord has decided that it needs to go, for the sake of the elect in this country. This country was not founded as a Islamic country; it was founded for the elect to have a place where they could worship God in freedom. Today that freedom is being attacking by those who are called terrorist and there is terror all around us in all forms. It is time that we say, Lord you are being attacked, rise up and sweep this enemy away for the sake of your people. May His will be done on earth as it is done in heaven. May He lead you to more Scriptures for your strength and courage.
