Mat 6:25

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:1 John 5:11 & 12
And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.This is a long list of Scriptures that I think best speak for themselves. I would only like to point out that I chose these particularly Scriptures because they say what life is and what life is not. We have so many voices around us telling us what life is and how we can and should get the best out of life , but none that say what the Scriptures say, and that is that life is in Jesus Christ alone. Yes, that is what the Scriptures say . It is annoying that the Greek language that is so picturesque in other cases gives no assistance here. It only has the term zoe; the very term from which we get our scientific word zoology. We would like to say that all those outside of Christ are living to, simply because we have been raised to believe and accept the worlds definition of life. The Bible however, only uses one term for life and it is always linked to being in Jesus Christ. I will leave the Scriptures above to tell you more about what life is and life is not.
