Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Rom 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

Paul said above in Romans 1:16 I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ; this gospel spoken of in Ephesians 6:15, for there is no other gospel but the one and the same. By it the salvation that the Holy Spirit has brought to each elect child of God is heralded and proclaimed through the words of scripture and the mouths of the Lord's preachers. It is a gospel that speaks peace to our souls and enables us to realize that therefore being justified by faith we have peace with God. Peace with God what a wonderful state to be in! We who were once rebels and enemies have been subdued and have been conscripted in the Lord's army. He has provided the gospel of peace to set us on and establish our footing on solid ground. The gospel of peace enables us to stand steady while the enemy rushes at us from all sides.
